March 19th, 2015 – On The Move: After Sagamore Hill redo, Teddy’s stuff is Coming Home.
This article is all about the renovation work currently taking place at former President Teddy Roosevelt’s home on Sagamore Hill, in Oyster Bay, Long Island. The home is to be re-opened to the public on July 12th 2015 so there isn’t much time to get everything just right. In order to meet tight schedule requirements, “The National Park Service awarded a last minute contract to DecoRada Wallpaper Installation of Brooklyn which has worked on the White House and other historic structures, to re-attach the replica wallpaper installed in the 1980’s. The company last week put a special paper liner on the ceiling to help the wallpaper adhere better”.
